Led the creative direction and photography for the Cleveland Cavaliers Scream Team across three consecutive seasons, developing a distinct visual identity for each year’s photoshoot and autograph photocard campaign.

Hip Hop Explosive

The goal was to make the team feel larger than a performance group. Each season needed to capture their athleticism, personality, and connection to the Cavaliers brand while giving fans collectible images that felt energetic, polished, and arena-ready.

For the first season, I built the visual direction around explosive movement and high-impact action. The concept featured dancers captured mid-air with a high-speed camera system, paired with realistic dust-burst effects to make each performer feel powerful, dynamic, and physically electric. The direction emphasized athleticism, momentum, and the team’s creative performance ability.

For the second season, I shifted the tone into a darker, more stylized visual language. The campaign leaned into stronger posing, dramatic color choices, and dance-driven composition. This gave the team a more refined and performance-focused look, moving from raw explosive energy into a moodier, more controlled brand image.

For the third season, the concept evolved again by featuring the Cavaliers’ actual stadium, which was newly introduced at the time. This grounded the Scream Team directly inside the world of the franchise and gave the campaign a stronger sense of scale, legitimacy, and connection to the fan experience.

Rocket Mortgage

Across all three seasons, I directed the creative approach, photography style, movement capture, posing, visual tone, and final photocard presentation. The work had to function both as promotional imagery and as autograph-ready fan merchandise, which required balancing personality, team branding, visual clarity, and collectible appeal.

Although there is considerably more to mention
