Frank Chambers, a drifting ex-boxer, finds work at a rural California diner owned by a cheerful but oblivious Greek man named Nick Papadakis. Frank quickly falls into a torrid, impulsive affair with Nick’s young wife, Cora. Fueled by lust and mutual frustration, they plot to kill Nick and escape with the diner together. But the murder doesn’t go cleanly, and even when it does, guilt and fate tighten around them like a noose.

Cora- Lead Role
Magnetic, volatile, and emotionally complex. Cora feels trapped by her marriage—resentful, yet dependent on the security Nick provides. She’s manipulative by necessity, using charm and sexuality as weapons and shields. Cora can flip from genuine vulnerability to cold calculation in a breath. Her greatest fear is being powerless, and she’ll do anything to claw her way free, even if it means betraying those who help her.
Frank- Supporting Role
Late 30's to early 40s Gender: Male Ethnicity: Open Role Type: SupportingFrank has drifted from place to place since his boxing license was revoked for fighting dirty. He’s survived on charm, fists, and short-lived jobs. When he lands at Nick’s roadhouse, he sees Cora, not just as an escape, but as a second chance at life.
Nick -Supporting Role
Late 40's to early 50s Gender: Male Ethnicity: Open Role Type: Supporting
Self-made bar owner. Charismatic, prideful, and controlling. Nick built his world from nothing and guards it ferociously. He’s old-school: direct, sometimes intimidating, quick to spot weakness.
